FAQ
Questions about ARIOS
What is ARIOS?
ARIOS is relationship-intelligence software for B2B teams whose revenue comes through partners rather than through volume prospecting. It reads the accounts, contacts, events and signals a team already has, and proposes specific next actions with the evidence attached. A person approves every action before anything is sent.
Is ARIOS a CRM?
No. A CRM stores what happened; ARIOS decides what to do next. It is designed to sit alongside a record store rather than replace one. If a team has no system of record at all, ARIOS is not the first thing they need — it works from relationship history, and there has to be some.
How is ARIOS different from a sales engagement platform?
Sales engagement tools are built to increase how much a team sends. ARIOS is built to decide whether a message should be sent at all, and it refuses more often than it sends. The measure that matters is whether the relationship survives the outreach, not how many touches went out this week.
Who is ARIOS for?
Travel wholesalers, destination management companies, MICE agencies and partner-sales teams — businesses where the same few hundred relationships produce revenue year after year. It is built for teams of a few people who cannot afford to let a good partner go quiet for six months without noticing.
What do I need before ARIOS is useful?
Some relationship history: contacts a team has met, corresponded with, or been introduced to, and ideally a record of which companies they belong to. ARIOS reads that history and decides what to do with it. A team starting from an empty list and buying cold data is not the case it is built for.
What does ARIOS cost?
Pricing is not published yet. ARIOS is in early access and is granted case by case while the product is shaped around a small number of teams. The honest answer to a pricing question today is a conversation, which is why there is no pricing page pretending otherwise.
Does ARIOS send emails automatically?
Only inside a campaign a human has explicitly approved, with rules and limits they set first. Outside that, ARIOS drafts and a person sends. There is no mode in which an agent decides on its own to contact someone new — the approval is the product, not a setting that can be switched off.
How many emails does ARIOS send in a day?
Whatever limits the operator sets when approving a campaign. The defaults are deliberately small: fifteen delivered messages a day, at most two addresses at any one company, nothing at weekends, and no new message to the same person within thirty days. A campaign whose bounce rate crosses forty percent pauses itself.
How do I stop a campaign immediately?
One control pauses every campaign in the workspace at once, and the runner checks it before each message rather than at the end of a batch. Stopping needs no confirmation dialogue: the cost of an accidental pause is that somebody presses start again, and the cost of a delay is not recoverable.
How do you stop emailing a partner who has already replied?
ARIOS checks the mailbox before every send and refuses when the last message in the thread came from the recipient. A reply ends the sequence: silence is the only thing a campaign may chase. The refusal is recorded with its reason and appears in the daily report, so a stopped send is visible rather than silent.
How do you avoid cold-emailing someone while a colleague is negotiating with their company?
ARIOS checks the pipeline stage of the whole account, not just the individual. If any deal at that company is at meeting, negotiation or partner stage, a cold email to anyone there is refused. This is the single most valuable rule in the system, because the damage is invisible until the partner mentions it.
What happens when a follow-up would arrive before the previous one has landed?
A follow-up must reply inside the existing thread or it does not go at all. If no earlier thread can be found, ARIOS refuses rather than starting a new one, because a second message on a fresh thread reads to the recipient as a second cold email rather than as a follow-up.
What happens when someone replies with an out-of-office message?
ARIOS reads the return date out of the auto-reply and holds every message to that person until then, scheduling the follow-up for the day they said they are back. If the auto-reply names a colleague to contact instead, that address is surfaced for review rather than added automatically.
What language does ARIOS write in?
Whichever language the recipient reads. A Russian-market domain gets Russian, and if no Russian template exists ARIOS refuses to send rather than substituting English. Elsewhere it uses the local template when one exists and English when one does not, because English is ordinary business in most B2B travel markets.
What happens when an email bounces?
ARIOS records the bounce, reads the reason, and works out whether one mailbox has died or the whole company is refusing mail. A single dead address is excluded on its own. The same rejection at the same domain on two different days promotes the domain, so no further addresses are tried there.
Does ARIOS read my email?
It reads message headers — who wrote to whom, when, and the subject line — to know which relationships are live and which have gone quiet. It does not request permission to read message bodies. Connecting a mailbox is optional, and disconnecting it stops all access immediately.
Does ARIOS work with Gmail or Outlook?
Mailbox connection is Gmail and Google Workspace today; Outlook cannot yet be connected. An Outlook user can still be handed a pre-filled compose link, so the draft opens in their own client and sends from their own address. The connection is optional in either case.
How does ARIOS know an account has gone quiet?
It reads message headers to find the last exchange with each account, then ranks silence by what the account is worth rather than by date alone. Ninety days of silence at a partner who books every season is a different problem from ninety days at a company that never replied.
What is a signal in ARIOS?
A signal is a specific, dated change at a company that gives a reason to write now — a funding round, an office opening, a new route, a senior hire. Each one is linked to the article or filing it came from, so the claim can be checked before anyone acts on it.
Can ARIOS invent facts about a company?
It is built not to. Every claim it shows carries a link to where it came from, and when no source can be found the field stays empty rather than being filled with something plausible. An empty field is honest and a wrong one is expensive: a fabricated detail in a partner email is worse than no detail.
What does ARIOS do with contacts collected at a trade show?
It structures them into accounts rather than leaving them as a flat list, links them to the event they came from, and ranks them by fit and by signal. The output is a short list worth following up, with the reason for each one, instead of two hundred business cards and a vague intention.
What is in the daily digest?
One email each morning saying what happened: what was sent, what bounced, who replied, and what was deliberately not sent and why. It is assembled from the record of what actually occurred rather than from an assistant's recollection, so when the digest and the database disagree, the database is right.
Does ARIOS sell contact lists or lead data?
No. ARIOS is not a lead database and does not supply contacts. It works on relationships a team already has some claim to — people they have met, corresponded with, or been introduced to. Teams looking to buy cold contact data are looking for a different category of product.
What happens when someone asks to be removed from a list?
A do-not-contact entry blocks them permanently, and the check runs inside the send path rather than only in the interface, because a rule that lives in a screen is a rule a script can walk past. Entries are released rather than deleted, so an objection stays auditable years later.
Where is data stored, and is it GDPR compliant?
Data is held in managed EU infrastructure with access scoped per workspace. Objections, access requests and deletions are honoured, and a do-not-contact entry blocks outbound mail in the send path itself rather than only in the interface. Details of processors and retention are published at Data & Compliance.
